". . . And cut!"
Jaejoong bowed and thanked everyone on set of his episode series, "Heaven's Postman" when suddenly his phone rang. He looked at the number, wondering who it was,
"Hello?"
"This is Mrs. Shim. Are you available for a few minutes, Kim Jaejoong-sshi?"
"Ah, hello!" Jaejoong bowed respectfully even though the older woman couldn't see him.
"It's about my son," the woman continued speaking.
"Ah . . . yes . . ." Jaejoong cringed, bowing in apology as he made his way past staffs and headed to his dressing room.
"I watched that couple talk you had with my son."
Jaejoong froze. He remembered that couple talk. He remembered pinching the maknae's cheeks. He remembered almost kissing him on screen and he definitely remembered ordering the younger male to sit still while he escaped.
"I don't approve of that skinship. He doesn't like it, so you shouldn't force it on him."
Jaejoong didn't like it when he got a bad rap from Changmin's mother. It seemed like he was the only one who got on her bad side.
"I'll be mindful in the future," Jaejoong apologized.
"And don't think I didn't see Changmin flinching when you pinched him. I honestly don't know why you start fights with him and why fans are proud of this horrible image," Mrs. Shim continued.
"I'm sorry," the words tumbled almost immediately at the accusation.
"I will not hear those words from my son ever again, do I make myself clear?"
"Yes," Jaejoong answered.
"Good day and tell the others I said hello," Mrs. Shim said and hung up. Jaejoong sighed and sagged into his chair. The door opened and the tall form of the maknae walked into the room. Jaejoong looked at the younger boy in shock,
"What are you doing here? I thought you had a schedule."
"Finished early, hyung. I heard that you finished around this time too, so I thought we could eat together," Changmin said, placing a bag of fast food on the dressing table and took a seat next to him.
"Hey . . ." Jaejoong whispered as Changmin dug into his cheeseburger, "Do you really hate doing skinship with me?"
Changmin raised a brow, his hand reaching for his fries and popping them into his mouth,
"Why are we having this talk?"
"I want to be a better hyung. Tell me all the things you dislike and I promise to never do them around you," Jaejoong turned to look at the maknae.
"Okay, something's up. What is it?" Changmin placed his half-eaten burger down.
"Nothing, I just want to do good from now on," Jaejoong quickly said and unwrapped his burger, taking a huge bite.
"It's my mom, isn't it? She complained again, didn't she?" Changmin sighed. Jaejoong choked on his burger and went to take a drink from his soda,
"No, it's not! It's management. They said I should tone down our skinship a bit, so I thought I'd go over it with you."
Changmin glared, "You're lying."
Changmin quickly snatched the other man's phone laying on the table in front of them and checked the history calls and noticed his home phone number as the latest one, just minutes ago. Jaejoong snatched his phone back, his hand itching to slap the other on the arm.
"I knew it, hyung."
"Doesn't mean anything, she could've praised me," Jaejoong said.
"If she did, wouldn't you be boasting about it right now instead of feeling so insecure about our skinship?" Changmin smirked, taking a bite of his hamburger as if he had won something good. Jaejoong sighed,
"Fine, so what if she called to scold me? Isn't that already predictable? I don't know why it's bad. I love my members and I want to be close to each and every one of you. I give skinship with everyone, not just you."
"Yeah, but they haven't said anything about it, so that's why it's okay when you're with them," Changmin slurped his drink.
"Then tell me what you dislike and I'll try to avoid it, I promise," Jaejoong looked at the boy, eyes pleading. Changmin placed his drink down and sighed, staring at his older hyung,
"You're fine just the way you are, hyung. Touchy, intimate, and all."
