"400! Come on! 401! Push harder!" Yunho shouted, his voice echoing loud in the vast room. All of his thirty cadet soldiers pushed with all of their might, sweat dripping down their foreheads, and their faces flushed red with the lack of oxygen. He and his cadets had been at it for the past nine sets of exercises, each with a five hundred count, and he knew that his team was tired, their muscles aching and screaming for rest. But he couldn't stop them just yet. If only they could push ninety more times ... then they would get their ten minute break.

"Come on! 411!" Yunho shouted once again, this time in one of his cadet's ear. He walked around the room with his clipboard and jot down some notes next to a particular name.

"420! 421!" Yunho shouted and stood next to one of the cadets that was out of sync with the rest of the team.

"Get back into pace, Lee Kang Woo!"

The man in particular almost jumped, breaking his pacing even more and tried his best to go back in sync with the rest of his team. Yunho smirked when he watched the man matched his breathing pace with the others.

"443! 444!" Yunho continued on with the count, walking around his team once again before stopping to stand up at the front and watched,

"450! 451! We're almost there!"

"Looks like you're working hard."

Yunho turned to look at the man that entered. He gave a nod of acknowledgement, before he returned to his team,

"I want to hear you count! 459!"

His team echoed the count, loud and clear. He gave a satisfied smile before turning his full attention to Eric,

"You don't trust me to train them myself?"

"I trust you now, seeing as how you're doing your job perfectly. Keep it up, rookie and maybe the higher ups will acknowledge you more. You do know that there's a meeting later on today, right? I came to remind you of that," Eric said.

"I remember," Yunho said. Eric nodded,

"Good. Keep up the good work and I'll see you tonight."

Yunho waited until the other man left the room before resuming the rest of the count,

"480! 481!"

Yunho zeroed in on Kim Kibum in the last row, Changmin's roommate. He had planned on recruiting the boy. He needed someone that both he and Jihyo could place their trust on and it seemed that Changmin trusted the boy wholeheartedly. Jihyo had Yuri and if Kibum agreed, then he would have Kibum by his side in this fight to overthrow the government.

"495! 496! We're almost there!" Yunho pushed his team.

"498! 499! 500! Okay! Take a break!" Yunho smiled, seeing his team all collapse and breathing heavily. He headed to the adjoining room and opened the refrigerator that he had stocked up the night before. He loaded the water bottles into a box container and carried it back out into the training room. He handed out the cool beverage to each of his cadets, giving the last one to Kim Kibum.

"After training, I want you to see me."

They spent the next three hours finishing the rest of the 20 sets of exercises.

"Good job. You're the best cadets, I could ever have. Take a good needed rest and remember to attend your classes as usual tomorrow," Yunho told his team. When the group groaned in chorus, Yunho couldn't help but laugh,

"There is no excuse. The teachers all know that you stayed up all night training. The least you could do is show up. Okay?"

The group chorused their displeasure, but agreed and said their goodbyes as they left the training room with sore limbs. Kim Kibum stayed behind like Yunho commanded and waited for the last of the cadets to leave before the other boy walked up to him.

"Was there something you wanted to talk to me about?" Kibum asked. Yunho nodded and gestured over to the bench,

"Let's sit down."

Yunho sat down and waited until Kibum sat next to him before he proposed his question,

"What's your feelings on how the government is run? Do you like it?"

Kibum frowned at the question, "Why ... Why are you asking me?"

Yunho watched the boy closely as the other looked around the room curiously.

"You are not being watched, trust me. It's a question from me to you."

"I don't mind it ... I mean, if you follow the rules, then you won't get into trouble," the boy said.

"So you like how things are now? You don't want things to change?" Yunho asked. Kibum shrugged,

"Honestly, I don't care. People have different opinions of things and I think having structure is a good thing."

"True ... But if there's one thing you would like the government to change, what would it be?" Yunho tried at his last attempt in winning the boy over.

"I think the punishments are a bit severe."

"Oh good, you made it."

Yunho saw Kangin waiting outside of the meeting room.

"I did tell Eric that I was coming."

"So, are you ready to meet the higher ups?" Kangin stated, clapping Yunho on the back.

"I am."

Kangin opened the door and the rest of the Sergeant Majors that gathered, all stood up at his entrance.

"Properly introduce yourself," Kangin whispered to Yunho. Yunho bowed his head in greeting,

"Jung Yunho, nineteen, and just promoted as Sergeant Major."

"Aww, nineteen? I thought I would finally get rid of being the maknae," a girl whined.

"Sooyoung, being the maknae isn't all that bad. You should be lucky that the higher ups decided to even add you to our ranks. Not many fifteen-year olds get that chance," Tony spoke up. The girl named Sooyoung grumbled under her breath and stepped forward, hand outstretched,

"Choi Sooyoung."

Yunho looked at the hand and then reached forward to grasp it in a shake. Then Yunho spotted Jihyo and smiled, relieved that there was a familiar face in the room.

"Song Jihyo," Jihyo said and stretched out her hand and Yunho didn't hesitate to shake her hand.

"I'm Lee Hyori," the older woman of the group said in a greeting and the other woman stepped forward with a slight nod of her head,

"I'm Kim Yoojin or in english, Eugene. Nice to meet you."

"You as well," Yunho answered.

"Now that the introductions are over with, let's all sit down," Kangin said and sat down in his seat. Yunho looked hesitant as he sat down and was glad that Jihyo sat in the seat next to him on his right side. The TV screen on the wall turned on and the faces of three men showed up.

"Good, everyone is present. We will begin this meeting. Is there anything worth presenting today?" one of the man on the screen asked. The woman, Lee Hyori stood up,

"I have. A woman gave birth yesterday and unfortunately, the baby she delivered has shown some deformities. I think it's a result of incest or maybe a condition passed down from generation to generation."

"I see. Find out who her partner was from the baby's DNA and make a mark on their records. Then dispose of the baby as usual," the man said. Yunho noted how tense Jihyo had become just from the short conversation they heard. He wanted to offer some comfort to the older girl, but there were too many people in the room at the moment.

"Anyone else?" the second man asked. Eric stood up this time,

"Taeyang has reported that the same two boys from his floor has been once again detained and punished for not participating in the breeding sessions."

Yunho immediately realized that they were now talking about Jaejoong and Junsu. And it made him uncomfortable hearing people talk about his friends as though they were just objects rather than human beings.

"They rather breed with each other than a member of the opposite sex, is that it? Then we have no choice but to force them. We've been lenient for far too long. We have to take matters into our own hands if we want to test their genes and find out what their off-springs are like," the first man said.

"I will relay the information to Taeyang and after tomorrow, we'll make sure to keep in contact with the women that they will be bred with," Eric answered with a curt nod.

"Anything else?" the first man asked. When no one spoke up they turned their attention on the new member.

"Jung Yunho, I've heard only but good things from the Sergeants and from your floor officer as well. Continue to make us proud. Show the rest of the citizens that we are people to be feared of," the third man said. Yunho didn't know what to say to that, so instead, he bowed his head in thanks and waited until the screen turned off. Everyone stood up from their seats and left the room until it was only him and Jihyo left.

"Don't let the words bother you. As someone who wants this cruel society to change, you should be trying your best to overthrow them. Silly emotions such as fear or pity will hold you back," Jihyo reminded him when they were finally alone.

"Yes, you're right ..." Yunho whispered, "But how can we overthrow the government with just us three? I have a perfect candidate to join our side, but he's stuck on the fence. He fears change and doesn't want to get involved."

"But you say that he's on the fence. That means we might have a chance to change his views. What is he fifty-fifty on?" Jihyo wondered.

"Punishments. Apparently, he doesn't like it when innocent people are hurt," Yunho said. Jihyo nodded,

"That is a good indication he wants something to change, so we have to focus on that. We have to make him see the thing he fears the most come to life and towards the people he cares about. Do you know anyone that he is willing to risk his life for?"

"I do ... but you wouldn't like it," Yunho said.

"Who?" Jihyo wondered.

"Changmin. He's Changmin's roommate and good friend."

"Then that makes it all the easier," Jihyo said. Yunho was taken aback by the girl's coolness,

"Easier? How?"

"Well, since we know Changmin, we can just inform him of our situation and see if he'll cooperate with us in getting Kibum on our side."

"But will he though?"

"Don't worry, Yunho. I'm sure Changmin will help us."

"Can you believe that Ms. Ahn gave us an extra chapter to read for History class? I didn't get to finish the chapter she gave us two days ago. She's trying to kill us, I tell you," Jaejoong complained, tearing his eyes away from his manhwa. After dinner, they went back to their room for a little late night studying before bed, but as always, Jaejoong decided to read his manhwa instead.

Junsu snapped out of his thoughts a beat later, turning to look at the older boy,

"Huh?"

Jaejoong sat up and let his legs hang off the side of his bed,

"Are you sure that whatever you talked about with Yoochun, was nothing? You've been out of it since then."

"I said, it's fine. You were talking about Ms. Ahn?" Junsu wondered, turning the conversation back towards the other boy. He bit back a smile when Jaejoong gave him a curious look,

"Yeah ... You've had her class before, right? Tutor me. I think I'm failing."

"It's all about memorization. I can't tutor you on that. Just read the material and you'll be fine," Junsu pulled his sheets up to his chin and snuggled against his pillow.

"Okay, how about I read the chapter and you quiz me on it?" Jaejoong bargained and grinned when he saw his boyfriend give in with a sigh.

"Thank you!"

Junsu turned his back to the other boy and stared at the wall when their conversation was over. He let the smile on his lips slip away, and thoughts of his conversation with Yoochun earlier, returned. He couldn't help but feel afraid that Jaejoong was right. Yoochun's words did bother him. He had been keeping a part of his past a secret, to the point where he had almost forgotten it. But thanks to Yoochun's unrelenting, probing nature, the secret he had hidden away to avoid breaking up with Jaejoong, finally resurfaced.

He closed his eyes in fear of what would happen if his secret was found out. Would Jaejoong still love him or would he just cast him aside and disregard his attempts at trying to protect him from what really happened with Hyunjoong?

"I'm scared," Junsu whispered, clenching his eyes shut until a tear rolled down his cheeks and curled in on himself further,

"I don't want to lose Jaejoong."

Yoochun held in the gasps and the groans that the older man was pulling from his lips. He wanted to deny how good the sex felt, but the friction and the angle of the thrusts, made his head all fuzzy with pleasure. He barely recognized the older man leaning up to suck at his collar bone until he felt the sharp bite on his skin.

He awoke from his haze and rasped, trying pull himself out of the man's hold,

"No, I don't want any marks."

Seungri held the other still on his lap, "We're not done."

"We are," Yoochun finalized and tried to free himself again. Seungri growled at how stubborn Yoochun was being and pinned the boy down harshly, his fingernails digging into the pale flesh of the boy's wrist. Yoochun glared up at the sudden show of dominance,

"Let me go."

"There must be something you still want from me. Isn't that why you're seeking me out for sex? Why the change of tune now?" Seungri wondered.

Yoochun scoffed, "If I recall, it was you who invited me tonight. Am I wrong?"

Seungri chuckled and reluctantly leaned away, letting go of Yoochun's wrist and sat back against the headboard, watching Yoochun rub at his wrists,

"No, you aren't wrong. Now, what is that you want from me this time?"

Yoochun turned his body away from the older man,

"I want to know about Kim Junsu."

"Kim ... Junsu?" Seungri tried to remember the name, but nothing was coming up,

"Sorry, I don't know him."

"Then ... can you ask the other floor officers at the time of Hyunjoong's incident? I'm sure someone will know," Yoochun said.

"Okay, I'll try. But, why are you doing this?" Seungri wondered.

"Everything will make sense with Hyunjoong's incident if I find the last missing puzzle. And I believe that the last missing puzzle lies in Kim Junsu's relationship with Kim Jaejoong," Yoochun muttered.

"And you think this Kim Junsu is connected with Hyunjoong?"

"I'm not sure yet, but I have a feeling that he might be. Otherwise, why would someone willingly be in a relationship with a person who has chronic nightmares of their past? Sure, people might easily label that as love ... but I think it's much more than that," Yoochun said with a thought.

After thinking about it, Seungri nodded,

"Okay, I'll find out about Kim Junsu for you. When do you want the information by?"

"As soon as possible."

"You got it," Seungri whispered and shifted closer to the other's back and pressed a light kiss to the boy's cheek as Yoochun closed his eyes at the touch.

Hopefully Yunho will be able to achieve what he wants since Jihyo is by his side every step of the way.

Yeah ... Junsu has to watch out for Yoochun. XP
