1. When and how did you first realize that you loved writing?
- When I began wishing that my friends lived in the same neighborhood as I did. When I couldn't make it into reality, I decided to write out what would happen if it did become real. It was around middle school when I began writing.
2. Who is your greatest literary inspiration and why?
- Michael Buckley of The Sister's Grimm series. I really liked how he created his world using fairy tale characters.
3. What is your favorite style?
- I don't have a favorite.
4. Whose style do you imitate the most?
- I don't really imitate anyone. If I happen to imitate anyone, it's by accident.
5. What is your favorite genre to write?
- It used to be Drama and Angst. Although, I still write along those types of stories, my current favorite genres to write would have to be Dark and Mystery.
6. What do you think is the greatest flaw in your writing?
- My descriptions. I feel like they're lacking a lot.
7. What is your favorite thing about your writing?
- Whenever I pour out my true feelings and experiences into my stories, my readers were able to relate to it and that makes me very happy to see.
8. What attracts you to writing in general? Why do you love it?
- Writing lets me create a world where I can do things that I can't do in real life. And I love it because it lets me be creative and escape from the harshness of reality.
9. Top three sources of inspiration.
- Experiences, what's happening in the world, and other stories.
10. What are your dreams? Do you want to be published? A critical success? What?
- I used to aspire to be an author and get published. But after thinking a bit more about it, I realized that I'm not willing to give up something that became a passion to me and turn it into a work career. I want to be able to enjoy writing and not feel like I have to put a novel out there because I have to.
11. Do you write fanfiction? If so, what fandom? Any OTPs?
- Actually, I do write fanfiction. I've dabbled in the anime fandom and now the band fandom. I have plenty of OTPs, so I really don't like listing all of them here.
12. What are some of the most prevalent themes in your work?
- Death and the dark side of Love.
13. What are your favorite three novels?
- Does the Sister's Grimm count? Other than that, I don't have any other.
14. Three favorite authors?
- Michael Buckley, Shakespeare, Edger Allan Poe
15. Weirdest thing you've ever written.
- It would have to be cannibalism, which I wrote for my original novel, The Familiar Face.
