A/N: Sorry for the late update. I want to say that the reason for not updating, wasn't because of Writer's Block. It was due to a scene in this chapter that wasn't stimulating enough for me to continue writing. So after a long, frustrating period, I was finally able to move past it and write the rest of the chapter. Hopefully I didn't lose any readers from my one month long absence.

"You're here again."
Yoochun looked up to see the same police officer he met the first time around, staring at him with a sneer. But Yoochun wasn't in a playful mood at the moment. It was all business from now on.
"Yoohwan. There's something I must speak with him about. So, can you call him out for me?"
"Couldn't you have talked to him on the phone instead of bothering us here? This is not a place where you can come and go as you please," the man stated. It really wasn't a place for little kids.
"If I could reach him via cellphone, it would've been ideal, but because he didn't pick up, that's why I came to the station personally," Yoochun said as if it was obvious.
"Then, wouldn't that indicate he's busy? Wait until he goes home, okay? Now, leave. We're busy."
Yoochun stayed rooted to the spot, "I'm not moving until I see my brother."
"Stop making my job harder than it is, now leave or I'll throw you out," the man threatened.
"Fine, throw me out. I doubt Investigator Seunghyun would not like the fact that he's letting a crucial evidence in solving the Lipstick Murder case pass him by."
The man seemed to reconsider his words. Yoochun smiled and faltered when his arm was yanked back. He stared at the boy in the face,
"Junsu. What are you doing?"
"Are you really going to do it?" Junsu asked, seeing the police officer walk down the halls, probably getting Yoohwan as they speak. Yoochun jerked his arm away with a glare,
"What's it to you? Aren't we in this together?"
"But why now?" Junsu hissed. Yoochun sneered, knowing exactly why he decided to act upon his thoughts,
"It's because of that damn detective. He said that he's not going to help us. He let his heart control his decision. If it were someone else, he'd probably send that person to jail without a blink of an eye. But because his brother is involved, he feels the need to act like a protective older brother. Should a detective act like that? Throw away his job just to protect a criminal?"
Junsu stared at the boy, "Still, you shouldn't hurry and make rash decisions because no one is on your side."
"So, you're on their side as well? It figures. They're brainwashing everyone to make it seem like they're the victims," Yoochun spat in disgust.
"You're wrong," Junsu whispered.
"Am I?" Yoochun said. Junsu opened his mouth to retort, but another voice cut their conversation short.
"Yoochun!" Both Yoochun and Junsu looked up at Yoohwan. Junsu turned to Yoochun with pleading eyes, but Yoochun turned and grasped onto his brother's hand,
"I have something important to tell you, can we go to your office?"
Junsu wanted to follow, but he knew it was futile once the other boy had set his sights on a goal. Besides, it wasn't as if he was on the killer's side either. He just didn't want to see anyone get hurt.
He understood completely of both sides, having experienced them personally. For Jung Changmin and Kim Jaejoong, it was a self-defense that somehow had turned into a form of duty they had to perform. But it was still wrong to kill a human being to serve that one purpose. If only they had gone down a different route in solving the matter, like raising awareness on bullying, perhaps then they wouln't be marching to their deaths like they were doing now.
And Yoochun. There were no words to explain what the boy was doing. He was once again, letting his love for Han JiMin blind him. Yes, they all did deserve to have their killers put behind bars, but what would happen to the Jung and Kim families? Did Yoochun not think of that?
"Yoochun, you were so caring before. What happened to you now?"

"So, where were you the night Goh Ara was murdered?" Yunho asked the elderly man who sat across from him in blue overalls. Yunho pushed a photo onto the table, hoping to jog the man's memory. To be quite honest, Yunho thought the whole "interview everyone on campus" idea was a waste of time on his part because he already knew who the real killers were. He'd hate to have to be reminded of his position as detective and at the same time, a brother who promised to protect his only sibling.
"I was still working around the school," the man answered and looked closely at the picture,
"Oh . . . Is that the girl you're talking about?"
Yunho was surprised that a janitor knew who the girl was. He nodded and cautiously asked,
"Do you know her?"
The man nodded, "I can vaguely make out her face. But she looked very pale when I saw her."
Yunho leaned in, "Do you know what time and day that was?"
The man frowned and pursed his lip, before cocking his head to the side in thought,
"About a few days ago around 6pm? Almost 6:30pm that much I knew because my wife called me to be home at 6:30pm."
"Six-thirty . . ." Yunho muttered and began jotting down the time. He added his own notes next to the information and froze when the man spoke up again,
"And there were two boys with her."
"Two boys?"
"Yeah," the man nodded, taking the picture into his hands to get a closer look,
"They said that she was sick and that they had already called the girl's mother to pick her up. That was the last time I saw her."
Yunho was hesitant about his next question, but he had to know.
"If . . . there was a line-up and you had to pick out the two boys you saw that night, would you be able to?"
The man thought again and Yunho watched the man's subtle change in expression carefully. The man looked up at him straight in the eyes,
"Yes."
For a split second, Yunho was sure there would be a dead body in the middle of the Principal's office, but he refrained himself.
"Thank you for your time," Yunho bid the man farewell. He looked up when the door opened again and the principal walked in,
"So did the staff see her?"
Yunho sighed, shaking his head and lied, "No."
"I see . . ." the Principal looked forlorn and Yunho really did sympathized with the man. But he had to protect Changmin first.
Rinnnng ~ Ringggg ~
Yunho excused himself from the office and walked down the hallway to the entrance of the building.
"Investigator, what's up?" Yunho joked.
"Come to the station right now," the man said firmly on the other line and Yunho pulled his phone away when the connection was cut immediately. He frowned. What happened now?
-x-
"Are you sure? This is not a trick, is it?" Yoohwan asked when his brother finally spilled the secret. It was hard to believe.
"I'm not lying, hyung. I got the information from a witness who saw the two killers that night. And after getting the evidence from the lipstick, it only confirmed what I had already assumed. I thought Detective Jung would help, but instead he wanted to neglect his job. It's infuriating that he doesn't care about the victims as much as he's supposed to be." Yoohwan watched his brother huff in anger. Yunho not doing his job?
"Well, have you ever looked at his perspective?"
Yoochun turned to glare at his brother, "Why does everyone want me to see two sides of the situation? I just want justice to be served, not create some alternate solution where everyone is happy in the end."
"But it's just so hard to believe," Yoohwan whispered, "Yunho is covering for the murderers?"
-x-
Yunho could feel a sense of foreboding when he ran into the building. Was this what it's like to have a sixth sense about something?
He pushed open the door to the conference room and everyone looked up at him. He could feel the stifling air as he sat next to Yoohwan.
"Is there something wrong?"
"Did you find anything at the school? Any suspects that you might have thought that maybe they were related to the Lipstick Murder case?" Investigator Seunghyun asked, his gaze pierced at his very soul. Yunho looked down at the table, unable to confidently look face to face with the man.
"I did," Yunho answered.
"Tell us," Seunghyun said.
"There was a janitor that saw Goh Ara alive the night she died," Yunho recalled, taking out his tiny, black notebook. There were a few nods around the room.
"Anything else that you found? Like maybe who the murder might be?"
Yunho looked up. He could feel that it was a challenge of some sort.
Like they know the truth.
"No," Yunho lied, "But I'm close."
Everyone in the room shot each other knowing glances when the latter wasn't looking. They knew that Yunho was lying.
"Okay," Seunghyun nodded, "Then maybe you have lists of people that you might think are the murderers?"
Yunho wanted to swallow his tongue. It suddenly felt like they were interrogating him rather than having a friendly conversation over the data he found.
"I haven't pinpointed any particular person just yet. Maybe after a few more data --"
"Yunho, stop it," Seunghyun said, "We know. So don't lie to us anymore."
And Yunho knew right then, that he had been caught red-handed.

"Oh, hyung. What's up?" Changmin said. School was over a few minutes ago and now he was at a fast food restaurant with Jaejoong.
"Where are you?"
"At McDonald's, the one near the school. Why?" Changmin asked, looking up at Jaejoong who sat across from him.
"It's nothing. Sorry for bothering you."
Changmin closed his phone when Yunho hung up on him ubruptly.
"What's wrong? What did Yunho want?" Jaejoong asked. Changmin cocked his head,
"I'm not sure. But he sounded a bit weird on the phone."
"How weird?"
Changmin shrugged and fussed when Jaejoong reached over to snatch a handful of his fries,
"Yah! Buy some more instead of stealing mine!"
Jaejoong shoveled the fries into his mouth, "Nope.
After having their lunch, they made their way outside when men in black suits stopped them.
"Are you Jung Changmin and Kim Jaejoong?"
"We are," Changmin answered, "But who are -- Yah! What are you doing?!"
The men tugged on their arms to a car parked just around the corner. With muffled cries, they were pushed into the backseat. The onlookers stared on, wondering if they should call 119 or just ignore what they saw. Before anyone could make a decision, the car had drove off.

Junsu was right to have waited outside of the police station for Yoochun, because the latter came out with Yoohwan and a few other people he recognized, even Changmin's older brother Yunho.
"We're going straight to court with this. We've already alerted the families."
Junsu heard the tall man say and he watched for the reaction from the other people around. He could see Yunho looking down nervously and Yoochun grinning like he won the lottery. His phone suddenly rang,
"Hello?"
"Kim Junsu? This is Investigator Seunghyun, please come to the courthouse located in Seoul. We need you for the Plaintiff's witness against the Defendant."
Junsu looked up just in time to see them pile into a car. He closed his phone when the other hung up.
I just hope this all ends well.
-x-
"Hyung!"
Yunho looked up when he heard his brother's voice and felt ashamed that he had only called Changmin just to help Seunghyun find his whereabouts.
"Oh . . . Changmin-ah . . ."
That was when he noticed the shackles around Changmin's and Jaejoong's wrists. That wasn't the the type of image he had expected of his little brother. He couldn't believe that Changmin was in this problem in the first place.
"What happened?"
The scared look on his brother's face was heartbreaking. He wanted to wrap his arms around the boy and tell him that everything was alright. But he knew that if he didn't try hard enough to fight for Changmin's freedom, then everything would crumble.
"I . . ."
"Jung Yunho?"
Everyone turned to the newcomer. Yunho smiled at the woman,
"Kwon Yuri-sshi."
The woman smiled and bowed, "Hello."
"Who's this?" Seunghyun asked and Yoochun watched Yunho closely.
"She's Changmin and Jaejoong's lawyer. I hired her."
Yoochun clenched his jaw and stared after the woman as Yunho lead her down the hall with Changmin and Jaejoong trailing after them.
"When did he managed to get a lawyer?" Yoohwan asked. Yoochun spun around,
"I'm going to the bathroom."
Junsu had overheard everything in the hall and a part of him was thankful that Yunho had taken extra precaution and hired a lawyer. He didn't want Yoochun to win this battle just yet. So he decided to follow after the boy into the bathroom and spotted Yoochun's evidence folder laying out on the sink counter. With a glance over at the closed stall, he opened the folder.

Changmin and Jaejoong sat in their seats as people filed into the courtroom. They immediately heard shouting from the other side of the room and looked up to see the families of the girls they had killed.
The families were red in the face and tears streaming down their cheeks. Their hairs were frazzled and they could see their Principal staring at them through narrowed eyes. Changmin immediately took ahold of Jaejoong's hand.
"What should we do? They look ready to kill us."
Changmin scoffed, "If they try anything, they'll get thrown out of here. It's that simple."
"Why are you so calm?" Jaejoong tore his eyes away from the angry group of people to Changmin's downcast eyes.
"I don't know. I just have faith in Yunho."
The arraignment against the defendant began.
"Other than having the witness provide evidence, Jung Changmin and Kim Jaejoong are both charged with first degree murder for the seven victims. The bail is set at 1 Billion Won." *
The hearing was ajourned and Changmin and Jaejoong were made to stand up. On their way out of the courtroom, they heard threats thrown their way. At this point, they didn't care.
-x-
"What happened back there?" Jaejoong asked when they stepped into an empty room. Yuri stood with her arms crossed and a smirk on her lips,
"Let's just say you were given a chance from the heavens. If the Plaintiff had presented the crucial evidence of your fingerprints, you'd be going straight to jail. But since there is no hard evidence, you are given a trial. That's what they get for rushing for an arrest."
It was lucky, but they still had a trail next week. And they knew that by then that they wouldn't be able to escape their fate.

A/N: I've never been in a court session before so I skipped over many scenes and just generalized everything. I hope that's okay . . . I'm sorry I can't give you a good chapter after having been gone for so long.
