"Aww, it's not raining anymore!"
Changmin pursed his lips in concentration as he unlocked his bike from the bike rack. It had been raining for most of the morning and only when school had finally ended, did the rain storm as well. He frowned in irritation when he felt Jaejoong lean against his back to whine next to his face,
"I was hoping to use this Hello Kitty umbrella that my oldest nuna bought for me a few weeks ago, but now I can't."
Changmin shrugged the older boy off and stood up, sending a displeased look over to his pouting hyung,
"You can still use it. I see lots of people who use the umbrella to block out the sun when it's sunny out, so it's not just for the rainy weather."
"Really?"
Changmin had to look away from the other boy when he saw a smile appear on the other's face. If there was a weakness that he had, it was definitely Jaejoong's smile.
He then heard the distinct sound of the umbrella opening and looked over just in time to see the other twirling the yellow umbrella which had a Hello Kitty cupcake plastered to the side of it. He was surprised when he was caught looking by the other teen, which made Jaejoong skip over to him,
"Hey, do you think it's pretty? Does it match me?"
"It's okay," Changmin mumbled when the other teen began posing with the umbrella over his shoulder.
"What? I didn't hear you," Jaejoong moved closer, a grin on red lips.
"I said it looks okay!" Changmin shouted and proceeded to push his bike away from the bike rack. He heard the other boy giggle and felt quick footsteps catching up to him. Soon they fell into step with each other with Changmin quietly pushing his bike on his right so that the bike was the only thing separating them.
He sneaked a peek towards Jaejoong who was now humming a tune with eyes closed and hands tightly gripping the handle. The wind was cool after the rain, but it was light enough to tousle the other's black hair and making the older teen look younger than what he really was.
He was jerked out of his musings when Jaejoong opened his eyes with a smile,
"Do I look that good? You've been eyeing me since we've left the school."
Changmin lifted his lips in a sneer, "Don't kid yourself, hyung. You look ridiculous carrying a Hello Kitty umbrella. I wonder what was on your nuna's mind when she bought it."
"Hey!"
Changmin stopped when the other teen stomped the ground in anger,
"You can tease me, say mean things about me, but don't bring in my nuna."
Changmin rolled his eyes, "Whatever."
"Don't roll your eyes at me," Jaejoong stopped the younger boy with a grip to the other's sleeve. Changmin began a retort back, but one look at the other's eyes and the unshed tears there, he gave up with a sigh,
"Sorry, okay?"
"I'm not going to forgive you," Jaejoong said and Changmin noticed that the tears had ran down the other's cheek. He almost wanted to break out into a smile and snide at the older boy when he felt a hand linked with his. He wondered if the boy had mixed up his words with what he was really feeling inside, but he held the words in.
"Fine, don't forgive me."

"This is ridiculous. Why am I going out of my way to do this? Aish," Changmin cringed when he spotted the tenth female customer giggling at him. He had to do this quick and leave and never come near a Hello Kitty store ever again.
"I think this will do," Changmin muttered to himself, picking up a yellow umbrella from a box full of colorful umbrellas. He walked stiffly over to the cashier and placed the bright item onto the counter, waiting for the girl there to ring him up. The girl smiled,
"Is that for your girlfriend? It's rare to see a guy here."
He pressed his lips together in a tight smile, knowing that if he opened his mouth, he would hurt the girl's feelings.
"Come again!" the girl said when Changmin left the store. He quickly walked out of the mall and headed towards a particular neighborhood that he had memorized like the back of his hand. He headed up to the gate and rang the doorbell. A woman walked out to greet him and he was thankful that it was his hyung's nuna and not Jaejoong-hyung himself.
"Oh, Changmin! Jaejoong's not awake yet. Do you want me to wake him?"
"No. I -- I just wanted to give him this. I heard that he doesn't have an umbrella, so . . ."
The woman smiled warmly, "He'll love it. He'll be so happy to get a gift from --"
"No," Changmin said, causing a frown on the woman's face, "I -- I don't want him to know that I bought it for him."
"Why?"
"I don't want him to tease me about it," Changmin said and looked down, suddenly feeling embarrassed. He heard the woman chuckle,
"You two are so cute. Okay. I'll keep it a secret. Don't worry."
Changmin looked up with a shy smile, "Thanks, nuna."

Changmin tightened their linked hands when the older boy had forgotten their fight and had now continued with his humming. Looking up at the yellow umbrella and down at the happiness on his hyung's face, Changmin knew that he made the right choice by facing his fears and entering that Hello Kitty store.
