not even the crackling of wood in the winter.
Sometimes,
through the walls when I'm alone,
I hear your voice calling me.
I try to ignore it,
knowing you are not with me.
The ache in my chest,
wishes to disappear,
but it won't.
Not until you are here with me,
until your hand is in mine.
I feel saddened we no longer communicate.
Eyes are all around us,
catching us in our mistake.
But I want to be bold just once,
to scream out loud,
and tell everyone that you're mine.
Everyone knows I'm not that,
