Yunho sat next to the window in the room that he shared with Yoochun. He let the moonlight cast light on his face as he thought about what he had witnessed earlier that night.
"She's pregnant with his baby . . ."
"Who's pregnant?" a rough voice questioned. Yunho turned his head over to the body lying on the bed and whispered with a sigh,
"It's nothing. Go back to sleep."
"You've been preoccupied lately . . . Is everything all right?"
Yunho shut his eyes and breathed through his nose, "Everything's fine . . . Just go back to sleep."
Just when Yunho thought the other boy had gone back to sleep, Yoochun spoke up again,
"What you did earlier, do you know how much that hurt me?"
Yunho closed his eyes and turned his body away from the other boy and pressed closer to the window.
"Yunho," Yoochun called when Yunho didn't respond.
"Yunho," Yoochun pressed, "Tell me. How could you easily throw me at them like that? Are you really this selfish person underneath that perfect image? This little coward --"
"Shut up. You don't know anything about me," Yunho snapped. Yoochun sat up fast with a wince,
"And I foolishly thought I knew everything there was to know about you. But I guess I didn't. I was probably just a laughing stock for you, while you laughed silently in your head as I followed you around like a love-sick puppy."
Yunho heard Yoochun scoff. He gnashed his teeth in anger,
"I have a lot on my mind. I don't need this from you too." Yunho sat up and crossed the room to the door.
"Where are you going?" Yoochun growled from the bed. He gripped the comforter tight in his hands.
"I'm sleeping somewhere else tonight," Yunho pulled open the door and stopped when he heard his boyfriend whisper,
"You really want me punished, don't you?"
Yunho bit his lip, remembering when he had returned to his room from meeting with the female officials, he smelled the minty ointment in the air. He felt bad for Yoochun, he really did. But he had no other choice. He couldn't lose his chance when he hadn't even begun to start his plan.
"I promise I'll return before dawn," Yunho said and closed the door behind him. Yoochun sighed and laid back down on his pillow that was wet with tears.
"So you like seducing boys into your bed?" the man sneered, pushing the butt of the leather whip under Yoochun's chin. He was suspended in the air with his arms bound above him. His lip was busted and in the process of having his lip split, he had bitten his tongue in shock. With the man's face close to his, Yoochun was tempted to spit the coppery saliva at him.
"From your behavior, I bet the woman who bore you, was a slut as well. Like mother, like son, right?" the man chuckled, grinding the end of the stick into the underside of Yoochun's chin. Yoochun spat the coppery substance onto the man's face,
"Mother? I don't have one, you dirty piece of shit!"
The man wiped the saliva from his face and backhanded Yoochun,
"Looks like you have a dirty mouth as well."
Yoochun clenched his eyes together when he felt the harsh sting of leather on his skin.
After what seemed like hours, the chains around his arms unraveled and his body fell onto the cold concrete.
"Pick yourself up boy, and let this be a reminder the next time you decide to spread your legs for a man," the man said and lay a kick to Yoochun's limp body. Then the man left the basement as Yoochun curled within himself at the pain.
Yoochun sighed in exhaustion and turned on his side with a wince. Fresh new tears rolled down his cheeks. For the first time in 15 years, he desperately wanted his mother's comfort.

Yunho walked through the dimly lit hallways as his mind drifted back to Jihyo. It would be a lie if he said he didn't miss Changmin's annoying arrogance and his constant whining about the girl that he fell in love with at first meeting.
When he looked up, he found himself standing in front of the said boy's room. He wondered how he got onto the elevator without realizing it.
"What should I do? I want Changmin back, but I don't want to jeopardize what I have . . ."
The door opened in front of him and he jumped in shock.
"Hyung?"
Yunho recognized the voice and a smile spread on his lips,
"Changmin-ah . . ."
"What are you doing here?" the boy asked as he rubbed his eyes from sleep.
"I was . . ." Yunho hesitated. Should he risk it?
"You can tell me on the way to the bathroom. I need to pee."
Changmin was never good at being proper with his words, but Yunho didn't mind it. He reluctantly followed after the boy into the bathroom and leaned against the wall as Changmin relieved himself at the open stall.
"So . . . tell me. Why were you in front of my door at this ungodly hour?"
"I . . ."
Changmin pulled his pants up and flushed the toilet. He washed his hands at the sink and looked over at Yunho through the mirror,
"Hyung?"
"I saw Jihyo," Yunho whispered. Changmin whipped his head around, the faucet still running,
"You did?!"
Yunho moved forward to turn the faucet off,
"I wonder if I made the right decision in telling you . . ." Yunho bit his lip in thought and jerked back to reality when Changmin gripped the front of his shirt,
"How? How did you manage to see her? Is she here?"
"Stop," Yunho returned the gesture with his hands on the latter's shoulders and pulled himself away. Then something clicked in his head. Yunho looked curiously at Changmin,
"Why do you sound -- Are you back to normal again, Changmin-ah?"
The boy turned away with embarassment, "Hyung, please don't tell anyone."
"How? Were you always this way?" Yunho asked in shock. Changmin nodded,
"It'll take a lot than that to break me, hyung. I thought you knew that."
Yunho chuckled in happiness and gave the boy a tight hug,
"Yah, Changmin-ah! You don't know how much I missed this snarky attitude of yours."
"Hyung," Changmin struggled in his grasp and Yunho pulled away with a laugh,
"Now there's the Changmin I know and love."

Yunho snuck Changmin out of the dorms before dawn broke, but not before they had warned Changmin's roommate of his disappearance. The roommate offered to cover for Changmin and Yunho remembered his own promise to a particular boy. He turned to Changmin,
"I have to let Yoochun know that I won't be back."
They both headed one floor down to Yunho's room and Yunho slipped inside to write a short note of apology. He placed a kiss on Yoochun's forehead before closing the door behind him. Then he turned to Changmin,
"Let's go."
Changmin followed after him, "Are you really going to let me see Jihyo nuna?"
Yunho placed a finger on his lips as he surveyed around the corner and ushered Changmin to follow him to the fire escape situated on their current floor.
"Just stick close to me and be sure not to make any noise or it's over before you can even see her. Okay?"
Changmin nodded. They slid down the fire escape and made it safely on the ground. Yunho hunched down and ran with Changmin to the exit and continued until they reached the front gates to the female dorms. Yunho led them around the buildings and headed towards the back where the training grounds were.
They hid behind a tree and watched the women train. Yunho spotted Jihyo amongst the four women shouting out commands to the young female cadets. He turned to Changmin with a smile,
"Do you see her?"
Changmin nodded and clutched at the tree. He finally saw her. After a year, he finally saw Jihyo again.

"Junsu . . . Junsu-ah . . ."
The body on the bed turned away from the voice and buried his face under the covers with an irritated groan.
"Junsu," the voice said again.
"What now?" Junsu groaned when he finally realized that it was just his boyfriend bothering him.
"Changmin's missing."
Junsu blinked in the darkness and tried to find it in himself to care if the young boy was missing or not,
"So? Maybe he went for a walk or something. Did you try the bathroom?"
"I did," Jaejoong said. Junsu buried himself deeper into his pillow,
"And besides, why are you looking for Changmin at this early hour?"
"I wanted to eat breakfast with him. But his roommate said that he was at the dining hall. So I went there and no one was around. I don't know what to do," Jaejoong whispered.
"And what do you expect me to do about it?"
Jaejoong bit his lip, "Ask them to find him."
Junsu groaned again. He didn't feel like being an errand boy for Jaejoong anymore.
"Why are you so scared of them? Just go ask them yourself."
"I can't. You know I can't," Jaejoong hissed. Junsu sat up and flung away his comforter, suddenly feeling stuffy and hot,
"If you're still this way because of Hyu--"
"Don't say his name," Jaejoong snapped and Junsu glared through the darkness,
"Fine. If you're this way because of your past, then don't be."
"It hasn't been long since then. I don't want to risk it if they know and decide to remind me of it," Jaejoong said. Junsu sighed,
"Come here."
Jaejoong leaned blindly into his boyfriend's arms.
"You can't beat yourself up over what happened."
"I need Changmin, Junsu. I can't live without him," Jaejoong whispered. Junsu tightened his grasp around the older boy's body,
"And stop using Changmin to feel better about yourself."
Jaejoong jerked away, "How can you even say that!"
"It's true, Jaejoong. You can't take advantage of Changmin when he's in his dead state. If you acted this way when Changmin's aware of his emotions, he'd avoid you. He would label you as a crazy person."
"And that's why I plan to keep him that way. He lets me do things that I wish I could do with him without him having to shy away from my touches."
"He's not that person, Jaejoong. You can't substitute Changmin for him," Junsu said. Jaejoong moved off the bed in anger,
"It looks like I can't trust you anymore without you having to remind me of that stupid bastard."
"Jaejoong . . ." Junsu sighed. He could see his boyfriend's silhouette move towards the doorway,
"Where are you going?"
"If you won't ask them, then I will," Jaejoong growled. Junsu stood up,
"But what about --"
"I'll be fine. I can resist a little taunting. Although, I can't say the same if they happen to touch me inappropriately."
Junsu heard the door open and closed. Alone in his room, Junsu could only wish that Jaejoong would return unharmed.

Yoochun woke up to the sound of rushing footsteps out in the hall and his door was flung open as couple of security guards rushed in. He stared in confusion as the men searched the closets and the spot under his bed,
"What's wrong?"
His floor officer walked in, "Shim Changmin on Floor 3 has been reported missing."
"Oh . . ." Yoochun blinked and let the information sink in,
"Wait, what?"
The man looked over at the empty bed, "Where's Jung Yunho?"
Yoochun looked over at the empty bed as well and a flashback of his boyfriend telling him that he would be back before dawn appeared in his mind. He looked at the clock to find that it was already 6am.
He lied to me.
"Maybe he went down for breakfast. I'm not his nanny," Yoochun huffed, momentarily forgetting who he was speaking to. When the man glared at him, Yoochun realized his mistake.
"I see the punishment wasn't severe enough to clean you of your attitude," the man said. Yoochun looked down,
"I'm sorry. I won't do it again."
"He's not here," one of the security guards said. The man nodded and walked out, slamming the door behind him as he left. Yoochun sat on his bed. He had decided that maybe he could forgive Yunho, but seeing as the older boy couldn't even keep a simple promise, he decided that his feelings for the boy was blinding him from rationally seeing the truth.
"Maybe it's that time in the relationship where things are starting to become comfortable . . ." Yoochun sighed. He could feel his heart constrict in pain as he forced himself not to cry over such a silly thing. He got up from his bed and pulled off his shirt, letting it drop on the floor and went into the closet for a fresh pair of clothes.
With a sigh, Yoochun left the room to shower, not noticing the piece of paper fluttering into the crack between the bedside table and his bed.
